# Introduction

GetItemVersion is one of the SOAP actions the Schematized Storage Service provides.

Create a document.

# GetItemVersion

This element has only one attribute:

• xmlns: This is always set to http://www.msn.com/webservices/storage/, followed by the version of the schema.

This element has two children:

• <spaceVersionRequests>: Described below.
• <spaceRequestFilter>: Described below.

# spaceVersionRequests

This element contains one or more <SpaceVersionRequest> elements.

# SpaceVersionRequest

This element contains two children:

• <SpaceHandle>: A resource handle.
• <LastModifiedDate>: A ISO 8601 timestamp which denotes the last time the item was changed.

# spaceRequestFilter

This element has two children:

• <SpaceFilterAttributes>: Only observed to be the value Annotation.
• <FilterValue>: Only observed to be the value 1.

# GetItemVersionResponse

This element has only one attribute:

• xmlns: This is always set to http://www.msn.com/webservices/storage/, followed by the version of the schema.

# GetItemVersionResult

This element contains one or more <SpaceVersion> elements.

# SpaceVersion

This element can either contain these four children:

• <HasNewItem>: If set to true, the blog has a new item to retrieve, otherwise, this is set to false.
• <LastModifiedDate>: A ISO 8601 timestamp which denotes the last time the item was changed.
• <ResourceID>: The resource ID of the blog.
• <Alias>: Described below.

Or this element can contain only one child:

• <Error>: The error message.

# Alias

This element has only one child:

• Name: The user handle that owns the blog associated with the <ResourceID> in the <SpaceVersion>.
